Welcome!

Thanks for visiting my page. I am multi-skilled musician from Riga, Latvia. During my short 'career' I experimented in different music genres that varied from metal to chill-out. In order to immerse the listener into slightly melancholic and thoughtful mood I try to combine electronic sounds with live instruments. I started at 17 in a heavy/thrash metal band playing bass and doing local gigs. Since then I played in a number of various bands, performing on a chill-out stage. I record my music at home which sometimes results in an average sound quality (especially early recordings), but my main goal is to pass on to the listener the emotional side of the music. However I'm always trying to improve the quality of my recordings yet there's still a lot for me to learn here.

I love music but like with many non-professional musicians, most of my time is spent in the office working with digits and cargo movements. However I strongly believe that creativity should not be abandoned and music is my way to channel it!

In terms of my nickname 'DeLepton', that should be explained separately. My actual name is Max and my nickname comes from a combination of the elementary particles called ‘leptons’ and the prefix 'de' from Chinese hieroglyph '德' (de - power), which together makes 'Power of Leptons'. Why leptons? It is believed that all of the information from the world around us is concentrated in those particles. In metaphysics leptons are believed to be the parts that form the human soul (which leaves the body after death) and also the reason why such things as telepathy, clairvoyance and other similar phenomena exist. Interestingly, the decay of those particles is straightforwardly related with the post mortem brain activity.
